I think you took a lot good pictures, amazing!! One of my favorites is actually the second picture that should show a "J". The colors of the object and the form are both giving distance to the background so that you can clearly see the letter - as well I really like the picture without recognizing the letter at all. An advise from me would be to play a bit more with the corners of your viewfinder. The pictures you took seem similar, nevertheless the violet flower looks beautiful and in addition that animal (I can't say what it is). I think with changing the corner with the right subject can create very different pictures and maybe one you like better than!
This is a great assortment of photographs that all grab my attention in different ways. I love the first picture under part 1 exercise #4. The focus on the rocks and puddle paired with the blurred out background create a super eye-catching photograph. I agree with Julia on the photos showing all four corners of the viewfinder. I think you have the concept right it would just be more effective on a more interesting subject like a person.
I just had to comment under your post because of the picture Matt stated. I think it is an incredible picture with the use of light and camera angle. I cant really descibe the feeling it gave me, like it feels like a memory I had or something. Perhaps to make it even better, or something similar to that picture, you might want to center the focus of the image in the center or on a distict corner or something. For this one the focus seems to be on the reflections on the water. The amount of sky in that photo also looks nice. I also really enjoy the rest of your pictures. I think you utilize light very well.
I really like your " looking down" pictures. Overall all of the pictures seem really good. Personally, my favorite section is the "Hula Hoop". The use of lighting in all of the pictures seem really impressive and quality is also magnificient.
