That second image induces so much anxiety just by looking at it. I mean that as a compliment! A good photograph is one that creates an emotional response. This dark, suspicious photo from the basement of the HUB does just that. Lowering the exposure put focus on the fluorescent lights and drained light out from the rest of the space. The lights originate closest to the viewer at the top of the image. They then make a sharp turn to the left out of the composition, leaving the viewer behind in this unconformable, dimly lit space. Chilly.
