I really like your portrait photos, you really used light well there. The portraits sort of are doing opposite things, the first is blending in to the background while the last one is really standing out. That is a great contrast and I think it makes the photos really interesting to look at. I think the first one could be a bit more interesting if it was more of a closeup shot of the leaves but overall I really like your photos.
I agree with Coles opinion. I really like your 3rd and 4th pictures as light plays an important role in it although both are different. In the 4th picture light is what makes us focus on the person, fully with dressed what even makes it look brighter - good choice for this assignment! In the 3rd the focus comes on the person mainly through the blurred background. Maybe with adjusting the camera settings a bit (e.g. higher Iso), the light could have been a bit brighter and more visual as main part of the picture. Never the less I really enjoy looking at it, it has something easy and maybe it was you intention to keep the light as soft as it can be sometimes.
I really like how you incorporated light into capturing people. I think you used very interesting techniques to capture your photos, and as a result have cool photos that came out of it. With the third photo, I would maybe recommend taking it from a different angle to fully capture the beauty of the light.
